When Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced the Australian Government’s much anticipated National Innovation and Science Agenda there was some very good news for those in the GIS sector. One of the measures includes making openly available two of PSMA Australia’s products, G-NAF and Administrative Boundaries.
The government has recognised the importance of spatial data to the economy and realised that by removing the barriers to greater use it will result in opportunities open for greater innovation and productivity.
