Map2TRIM achieves this by connecting your records, reports, documents, photos to their geographic locations (street addresses, property identifiers). Your records and information can then be visualised and accessed via a geographic information system (GIS).

Through map-based visualisation it makes information more accessible, engaging and easier to understand. This results in improved decision making and business processes.

How does it work?

Map2TRIM enables you to connect and communicate HP TRIM to the MapInfo GIS Suite. Your records management systems (RMS) and GIS then become a powerful tool to access and visualise your important information.

Map2TRIM links documents and records in HP TRIM to a GIS in MapInfo Professional or MapInfo Exponare. As a bi-directional link, it works within your MapInfo and HP TRIM.

HP TRIM users can locate and visualise the geographic location relating to their document by selecting the records in their RMS and right clicking the MapInfo option in the GIS.

MapInfo Professional / Exponare users can retrieve HP TRIM documents by selecting the locations of their map entities (property, assets etc) and clicking the Map2TRIM button to see the records, reports, documents, photos etc.
