MapInfo Training at Insight GIS gives you the knowledge and skills you need to effectively use MapInfo software at work. We are an Authorised and Accredited MapInfo Training Centre (one of only a few in Australia) and the certification we provide, gives you with international recognition in being formally trained in MapInfo Professional.

You can choose from five separate one-day and two-day MapInfo Training Courses that range from introductory to advanced. Our courses have small participant numbers, plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and are focussed on practical applications.

Insight GIS Practical MapInfo

Introduces the concepts of GIS and the basics of MapInfo Professional for those with no previous experience. The first day of the course focuses on the fundamentals of GIS and MapInfo, while the second day involves a series of projects to reinforce and expand on the concepts.

Introduction to MapInfo provides detailed training for regular MapInfo Professional users. If you are comfortable with basic spatial and IT concepts and want to learn how to use MapInfo Professional more effectively, this is the course for you.

This course enables you to take MapInfo to the next level with advanced map creation and data management techniques. The course introduces you to the functionality that lies behind MapInfo and you learn how to create and maintain accurate and professional data sets.

This course enables you to better understand and present your data with spatial analysis techniques. You learn about Thematic and Bivariate Maps, 3D Mapping and Advanced SQL, as well as Layout and Printing techniques so you can improve analysis of your spatial data.
